Finding A Surgeon

An Endoscope is made up of two basic parts: A tiny camera with a bright light fitted on the end of a long tube, and a viewing screen or television monitor, which displays a magnified image of what the camera is pointing at.

While performing the surgery, the surgeon watches the screen while moving the endoscope, much like a video game. During surgery, other surgical instruments, including scalpels, scissors, or forceps, may be inserted through a different point of entry to actually perform the procedure.
